Tea Tree Oils
The Miracle Of Tea Tree Essential Oils
The Bundjalung Aborigines of Australia were probably the first to discover the therapeutic properties of tea tree oil thus the nickname
“Miracle of the Island Continent.”
The Aborigines used the oil, which is mainly located
in the leaves of the Tea Tree and is released when crushed.
This oil was used as a disinfectant for wounds and animal and insect bites. The native Australians would also boil and inhale the steam from the leaves for relief from colds and sore throats.
Since that time, tea tree oils have been found to be effective in the treatment of:
Athletes Foot
Cold Sores
Blisters
