Yes! Pets! Did you know that our “best friends” can easily become infected with mosquito borne illnesses that popular animal repellants don’t cover? Heartworm is a mosquito borne illness that can affect your dog ~ cats can contract EEE from mosquitoes as well.

So, remember that if you and your child are outside, or if you are walking your dog or have an outdoor cat, it is important to use repellant especially at dusk and dawn on all of you.

Ingredients

Catnip essential oil: Nepeta cataria is a member of the mint family. Recently, catnip essential oil has been studied for its unparalleled effectiveness in repelling mosquitoes and other insects.

Eucalyptus Citriodora essential oil: Also know as lemon eucalyptus is used for purifying air, killing germs and is an excellent insect and mosquito repellent.

Cedarwood Virginia essential oil: This oil is in the Juniper family and is used for the blending of scents.

Geranium essential oil: Geranium is also an active component within insect repellant blends.

Because the repellant’s base is a purified water base, the next two ingredients are necessary.

Germaben II: Prevents mold from tainting the water base.

Polysorbate 20: This is an emulsifier that keeps the oils and water mixed.
